Troupe Royale of San Diego, CA is an all-inclusive, Partner Studio FatChanceBellyDance Style®️ based troupe.
Troupe Royale was originally founded in 2011. Lead by certified teacher of FCBD® Aleta Marie Kaplan, Troupe Royale performs a modern style of belly dance as created by Carolena Nerricio of San Francisco, CA, which has elements of Middle Eastern Folkloric Dance, Flamenco, and Classic Indian Dance into style that is now recognized and practiced by partner studios throughout the world. This group improvisational belly dance also evokes a folkloric style influence by Middle Eastern and Indian costuming and jewelry, and celebrates all bodies, all ages, and all participants.
